Autism Services of the North Shore was created to assist families in establishing structures and routines in the home that will promote feelings of security, comfort, and confidence in children.
For school-age children, our goal is to devise for the home environment an extension of the structures and practices used in the school to establish a meaningful continuity between the two environments.
We also suggest modifications and adaptations to school environments and activities that address children's individual needs at home.
